| Biography: |
| Ricardo Arjona was born in Antigua, Guatemala on January 19, 1964. When he was 3 years old, his family moved to Guatemala City. As a child he felt a passion for music and by the time he was 8 years old, already knew how to play the guitar. He released his first record Dejame Decir Que Te Amo at the age of 21. After a poor response, and since Arjona himself was not satisfied with the results, he abandoned his career for five years to study Advertising, while teaching music. However, his second album, Jesus: Verbo No Sustantivo, became a surprise hit with excellent response both in Latin America and the United States. |
