| Aventura was founded around the year 1999 in NYC. Anthony "Romeo" Santos (singer and composer,) Lenny Santos (guitarist and producer,) Max Santos (double bass,) Henry Santos Meter (singer and composer,) carried out their first musical works in Boston where a large Dominican population was located, an influence that caused them to adopt Central American rhythms—reggaeton—with its unique quality. |
