William Omar Landrón was born in Puerto Rico in 1978. He spent his childhood in a poor neighborhood called Villa Palmeras. At 12, he wrote his first songs, drawn by the music and advent of reggaeton, in Puerto Rico which is a mecca for this style. As a minister of the Church of the Restoration in Christ, in Bayamón, he devoted his time to the choir, performing at the celebrations. Four years later, following a conflict, he left the church. To his surprise, Héctor “El Bambino,” a member of the duet Héctor and Tito, called him to produce his first album in 2002.

From then on, his musical career began to take off. He wrote songs for the band such as Las 9 plagas, Héctor and Tito, The Godfather and Da’Flex, among others. His best-known song is “Aunque te fuiste,” produced by Héctor "El Bambino,” which told why he quit his career as a minister.

The debut album of his solo career, “The Last Don,” was recorded in 2004. The album immediately achieved fame and it sold over 60,000 copies. His first hit is “Dale Don, dale.”

Sealing his success, he sang for over 15,000 people at the mythical Madison Square Garden of New York.
