Alexis and Fido Tour Their Country |
The popular rap duo Alexis and Fido are making their way through the streets of their country until December 30, showing their appreciation for their audience during 2006, who have supported them all along. |

 The rap duo will go on tour through the residential centers of their country, including the municipalities of La Perla in San Juan, Los Álamos in Guaynabo, José Gautier Benítez in Caguas, Torres de Sabana in Carolina, Virgilio Davila in Bayamón, and Jardines de Cupey in Río Piedras.
After finishing this series of shows, they’ll take off on January 4 for Santiago, Chile, to perform at a popular night club.
Meanwhile, they continue to prepare the material for their next studio album, which will feature musical guests like Calle 13 and Julio Voltio.
It is worth noting that last Thursday, they took part along with other artists in a benefit concert for children in the pediatric unit of the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

To the beat of the tambourine, trumpet, and drums, the group Son Pika’o, the rap duo Alexis & Fido, salsa musicians Norberto Vélez and Gerardo Rivas, and the models Katiria Soto and Lynette Chico, lit up the little faces recovering in the hospital.
Alexis & Fido, Norberto Vélez, Gerardo Rivas, Katiria Soto, and Lynette Chico danced, sang, and posed for photographs taken by some of the children’s parents.
The eight and ninth floors of the hospital turned into a party. Even the nurses enjoyed the occasion and danced around the artists.
Alexis said he liked the joyful reaction that these activities aroused in the children: “When I see the kids I get emotional and say: ‘My God, I’m blessed.’”
Fido added that with this kind of events one must take the time to “make the day happy for those who need it.”
