Don Omar Does Not Respond |
The popular Puerto Rican reggaeton star Don Omar said he will not respond to the attacks directed at him weeks ago from Daddy Yankee and Héctor ‘El Father.’ He also assured that there will be no reconciliation, especially because ‘El Father’ verbally disparaged his family. |

 “You’re a fake/when you were barefoot, I put on your shoes/and now your poppy’s coming to tell you/you can't play with Yankee, you can't even play with my toys./What are you, a gangster?/As a gangster you’ve got nothing./You’re the king?/Yeah, of Burger King,” sang Héctor ‘El Father’ in his show last Friday in the middle of a rhyming attack against Don Omar.
Following these comments, Don Omar said on the Televicentro program SúperXclusivo, “I don't have time for Yankee or Héctor.”
In a phone interview, speaking from Miami, when asked about quality concerts, the artist said “December 1 and 2 people saw the best reggaeton concert, which hasn't been seen before in the genre,” referring to the “King of Kings” show he put on a few months ago.
Dom Omar said he would not respond to the attacks from Daddy Yankee and Héctor ‘El Father,’ and when asked about a possible reconciliation, he indicated that he's very upset with Héctor ‘El Father’ who verbally assaulted his family.
With respect to his relationship with his father, Don Omar said “Seeing my father say things about me and my mother was something very hurtful. I'm not going to allow that, so my children learn.”
The singer later commented that this verbal fight is not a publicity stunt and that these things can happen in musical competition.
