Miami, FL, April , 2008.- Mocedades is the best Latin vocal group of all time. Undoubtedly, their voices have marked the lives of countless generations and continue to do so today. Their saga continues under the name of El Consorcio with their latest release titled “Querido Juan”, in honor of the celebrated composer Juan Carlos Calderón, and was recorded live in 10 different studios around the world.
Appealing to the feel good nature and exquisite musical taste of the group, “Querido Juan” joins the famous voices once again with talented producer Juan Carlos Calderón, who for the first time ever lends his voice to songs like “Jugar a Amar” and “Tómame o Déjame”. “Querido Juan” also offers a meticulously chosen selection of hit original songs, reviving the romantic spirit of Mocedades and adding a contemporary twist to the group now called El Consorcio.
The release is a true rhythmic mosaic, including rancheras, tropical music, gospel and jazz, among other distinct elements that could only be fathomed by a producer of Calderon’s creative talent.
The album will go on sale on April 15th, at which time the group will be conducting interviews for all media outlets.
“Querido Juan” is a Sony BMG Latin release.
