Miami, FL, April 22, 2008.– NG2 represents the best of salsa’s new generation. The duo, made up of Norberto Vélez and Gerardo Rivas, release their third album into the market today titled “Con todas las de ganar”, whose single “Ella menea” is already creating a buzz, a spicy song that reached the top of the charts as soon as it was aired on the radio.
One can say that these salsa musicians have more than enough reasons to be dancing. The main one being that this album is made with the ingredients required for success. The production, which Norberto and Gerardo are entirely responsible for, has nine new original songs such as “Por amarte” written by Jesús Santiago, with a tropical rhythm and as a ballad, “Buscando amor” and “Si tuviera que elegir”, among others.
And if the album has all the ingredients to be successful, its single “Ella Menea” explains why. This song was composed by Juan José Hernández, who is also behind hits such as “Arroz con habichuela”, “Te veo nena” and “Conteo regresivo”, among others.
The song is became the “Song of the Week” on iTunes, where it is available to be heard and downloaded for free. Also, the popular Internet music store offers as a gift for those who purchase the album, a remix version of the single with rapper Julio Voltio.
The NG2 duo has gained a high level of respect in Puerto Rico and in other Latin American countries. Their musical godfathers, the renown Puerto Rican singers Víctor Manuelle, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Jerry Rivas, cannot help but feel flattered with their results and say so whenever they talk about the duo.
“Con todas las de ganar” is another Sony BMG Latin successful release.
