| | Album Description | | | The second album by Silicon Fly surprises the listener because of its quality sound and the band that accompanies Guilherme: excellent musicians in charge of drums, bass and guitars respectively. The production was done by the acclaimed producer Warren Riker (Carlos Santana, The Fugees and Lauryn Hill among others) and Guilherme himself, Silicon Fly offers the listener an impeccable work both artistically and musically. A unique feature of the album is that is was made in two versions, one in English with fourteen songs and one in Spanish with twelve. The most noteworthy songs on the English album are; ‘Searching’, ‘Nothing Left to Say’, ‘Without You’, ‘Turn Around’, ‘Sore’ and the ballad named ‘Distance’. On the other hand, the songs that stand out the most in the Spanish album are; ‘Buscando’, ‘No Quiero’, ‘Descontrol’, and the ballad ‘Nights’. The first single of the Spanish album, “Buscando” has climbed to the number one spots on many of the top radios in Uruguay. For instance; La Costa FM, Radio Disney, Concierto FM, etc. The band has performed in major events in Uruguay like Bikini Beach opening in Punta del Este, Beer Festival in Paysandú, they opened for La Oreja de Van Gogh in Montevideo, among many others. All this and the fact that the band just finished their first video clip for their single “Buscando – Searching” with one of the best production companies and directors in the United States, make Silicon Fly one of the bands of the moment. | |
